Daniel Barenboim: Beethoven’s Sonata Cycle

This Spring, the legendary Daniel Barenboim will play all thirty-two of Beethoven’s piano sonatas at the South Bank Centre. Join us to hear the Pathetique, one of Beethoven’s most famous and innovative sonatas, with its serenely beautiful slow movement. We will also hear the A flat sonata which takes the form of a sombre funeral march, and the light and airy G major sonata, Op.79.
