Following a sell-out winter success, Crafty Sunday is back – but with a difference…
Do you fancy a creative break on a sunny Sunday afternoon? Do you feel like making something but find that you never have the time, the tools, the space or the creative inspiration? Come and spend a Sunday afternoon with us in Islington’s stylish The
Make Lounge, featured in The Times and on the BBC. Relax in a fun, friendly atmosphere and take home chic completed craft projects – and maybe even make some new friends too.
This Crafty Sunday has a twist – everything you do will use recycled materials of some kind. So you’ll be kind to the planet as well as to yourself.
Come along and you’ll have the chance to make one or all of the following:
• Floral corsages from old clothes
• Beaded necklaces from magazines
• Gift bags from newspapers
Bring along a few items of old clothing and colourful magazines and old newspapers that were headed for
the recycling bin.
You’ll go home with lots of lovely things and a great
feeling of satisfaction too...
Crafty Sunday is part of JCC’s Global Village series, in conjunction with Tzedek. |
