Willesden Cemetery
After another sell-out last season, this Journey is back. Led by renowned lecturer and chronicler of British Jewry, Elkan Levy, the tour will take you around Willesden Cemetery, arguably the most important Jewish burial ground in the UK. Opened in 1873, it is the final resting place for Chief Rabbis, and for many significant communal leaders of the 19th and 20th centuries. It also reflects the wide diversity of Jewish life.

Whitechapel
Blue Badge Guide Rachel Kolsky takes you from the
surprisingly quiet Stepney Green to Whitechapel evoking the memories
of Jewish life, learning and labour. The treat of this tour is
that the closed cemeteries of Alderney Road and Brady Street
are being opened up especially for us, providing an opportunity
to see London’s oldest Ashkenazi cemetery and also the
burial place of Nathan Meyer Rothschild, the founder of the eponymous
banking house.
