JCC Kvetch Choir

In association with Sing London, come and sing your kvetching heart out in the JCC’s very own kvetch choir. If you love to kvetch and you love to sing (whether you can or not) then this is the event for you. Complaints choirs have become a world-wide phenomenon, giving participants the opportunity to vent their grievances in harmony and have fun singing at the same time.

All you have to do is email us your complaints (maybe the bus never turns up when you need it, the boiler keeps breaking down or they’ve just taken your favourite TV show off air) and songwriter Jonny Berliner will put them to music. Then, come along to two sessions run by Jonny to join the choir, learn the song and rehearse it in time for your kvetch choir debut on 7 July before the showing of We Are Together, a film about the power of song (see Movie Mondays). If you don’t want to take part in the choir you are welcome to email complaints to events@jcclondon.org.uk. Places are limited to 20 so booking is essential.

Read about the Kvetch Choir in The Times and see them here in performance:
