Forbidden: Rehearsed Reading

See a vital new play come to life: set in wartime Berlin, and inspired by the true story of ‘Aimee and Jaguar’, Forbidden reveals a secret passion between a glamorous Jewish woman hiding from the Nazis, and a German soldier’s wife. Earlier versions of this tale of seduction and betrayal were produced to great acclaim in Edinburgh and North America.

The JCC is proud to have initiated this first collaboration between award-winning playwright Pat Rowe and rising star Israeli director Michael Ronen. Both will be in conversation with journalist Ned Temko after the performance.
