It’s as easy as riding a bicycle ...
Want to learn how to cycle but don’t know where to start? Or perhaps you know how to ride but you’re too scared to venture out on to the busy London roads. The JCC, in partnership with Camden Public Safety, is delighted to offer safer cycling training for adults and children.
There are several levels of courses – pick the one for you and come along.
Complete Beginner: For people who simply want to learn to ride a bike.
Level 1: For people who can ride but wish to build up their confidence in preparation to going on-road.
Level 2: Intermediate. Learn how to cycle on quiet roads, understand how and when to signal, pass parked or slower-moving vehicles and turn into major roads.
Level 3: Advanced. Learn how to negotiate roundabouts, use junctions controlled by traffic lights, use multi-lane roads and demonstrate an understanding of route planning.
Norwood pioneered the sponsored charity bike ride over 15 years
ago. Cyclists of all abilities can see the world with Norwood
and make a difference by raising money for a good cause. For
more information about upcoming Norwood Bike Rides for all
ages and abilities go to www.norwood.org.uk/challenges
Hazon’s vision is to create a healthier and more sustainable
Jewish community – as a step towards a healthier and more
sustainable world for all. See www.hazon.org for more info.
These courses are offered with and inspired by Hazon and Norwood.
