Interfaith Film Workshop

Interfaith Film Workshop

In February 2011, during half term, the JCC, in conjunction with Point Blank and An-Nisa, produced an interfaith film workshop for ten Muslim and Jewish teenagers to meet each other, learn about all aspects of film-making and gain an accreditation.

The participants wrote, directed and edited the films themselves. The process of working together intensively on this project provided everyone with the opportunity to learn about each other’s beliefs and cultural backgrounds.

Thanks to everyone who was involved and particularly Humera Khan from An-Nisa and Adam Ryzman and Zara Afzal from Point Blank.

This project was supported by Faiths in Action.
